CONSULTATION, MENTORING FEES and PRICING QUOTATIONS

Favour Land Publications, a business name of Favour Land LTD, is committed to helping published and potential Christian Authors globally to fulfil their dream of publishing their books—be it paperback or ebook in a very excellent way. We have helped many Authors over the years. We offer a very competitive publishing package specifically tailored to an Author’s unique needs after due consultation. This is usually provided after the writer, potential or published Author officially comes on board our programme. To enter our programme, the consultation fee is a non-refundable fee of £180.00, while the mentoring fee is £420.

What is the difference?

The consultation fee creates room for the Author to come to the Publisher to ask questions, receive invaluable counsel on various aspects of the particular publishing project(s) being engaged in at the time. Based on the outcome of the advice being offered, the Author can fully commit to have their book published by us relative to our publishing terns. Next, the Author sends us their typed manuscript to the Publisher to consider, and both in agreement, determine the best way to publish that book and the publishing cost. From the time of writing to the delivery of the finished product, the Author can freely approach the Publisher for advice on vital issues relative to their work.

Once the agreement is reached for the book to be published by Favour Land Publications, then vital deadlines are set to work fully with the Author to get their book published excellently within the best time frame, often between 4 – 8 weeks depending on the amount of work to be done on the project, and after an initial deposit of 60% of the publishing price has been paid by the Author to commence work, and the rest of the 40% to be paid on completion of the job, and before the delivery of the book to the Author at an address nominated by him or her.

The author mentoring fee is a one-off fee of £420. paid by the Author which allows him/her to receive the best advice, writing tips, and all-round guide by telephone or email or in writing weekly within 3 months to help them accomplish the goal of publishing an excellent book (s) that can meet professional book publishing standards, the needs of their target audience, and also be able to compete with other books of its genre in the marketing world.

N.B. This mentoring fee allows the Author to have a one-on-one coaching and question time with the Publisher, one (1) hour, twice in a month by phone or on Zoom.to discuss any personal needs they may have relative to their writing. This can be reduced to once in a month if the Author has less needs or at the discretion of the Publisher, giving full notice before the time. On the other hand, this privilege can also be extended to the Author for 6 months if they are still actively engaged in writing and willing to publish their books through Favour Land Publications within the next 2 years of coming under our mentoring programme. 

Once you decide on whether to opt for the consultation or mentoring option, then you should inform us by email or text or phone. You will then receive the Bank Account details to use to pay the full amount (consultation or mentoring fee) to an account specified to you at the time, within 24 hours. On receipt of payment, the programme then takes off to accomplish your goal of publishing your book. Note, you are expected to meet all writing and submission deadlines we will give to you in order to meet our target of finishing your work within the scheduled time frame

Free Offer: As an incentive, Favour Land Publications will offer you a free service of posting and submitting 6 copies of your finished book to the Agency for the Legal Deposit Libraries and the Legal Deposit Office in the UK, in order to meet all legal publishing requirements.

Favour Land Publications does not engage in distributing the published book for the Author but will offer you valuable advice on request regarding marketing options available to you to help you market your book.

Favour Land Publications also offers other valuable post-publishing services which are paid services, which you, as an Author, have the option to decide to use or not. Details of their cost will be explained further when a publishing contract has been agreed with you.

However, such paid services include (1). writing the tight script needed for the submission and listing of your book to the body responsible for the global book data to booksellers which allows your book to be electronically held by most booksellers all over the world on their database so your book can be seen and ordered from anywhere in the world. (2). Offering you advice, guidance and help on how to list your book on the Amazon platform. (3). Book Launch consultations and possible participation. (4). Advice on best Book Titles for your work. (5). Creating cover designs for your book or for other projects. (6). Editing, Designing and Printing your Brochures or leaflets. (7). By collaboration, help you build a world-class Author website that can help you gain valuable customer loyalty critical for making your business succeed. (8) Help you create your Author, Landing Page.

EXEMPTION

Favour Land Publications sets out to give the Author a very satisfactory service within a set time of agreeing to work with them. Note, the Author is responsible for their own work, including meeting stipulated guidelines. If the Author chooses to do the editing of their work themselves, they are responsible to ensure that they submit perfectly edited work to the Publisher.

The author takes responsibility for any error they submit with their work. It is in their interest if they need their work to be edited by the Publisher to indicate so at the beginning so their quotation can accommodate this and then be undertaken by the Publisher. Should they suddenly change their mind and want the Publisher to edit their work mid-way, then the Author is liable to pay any amount stipulated by the Publisher, taking into consideration that such abrupt decision detracts greatly from the time frame and general logistics set out to do the work. Any un-agreed delay in submitting all or any sections of the manuscript at an agreed stipulated time will attract a fee which will be added to the Author’s balance to be paid before the delivery of the book(s).

We reserve the right to amend these Book Publishing Terms and Conditions of Service from time to time without notice to you. Please check the Terms and Conditions of Service periodically to see whether a change has been made to them. We may (at our discretion) provide you notice of such changes to any email address you have provided to Favour Land Publications. If you do not agree with any change in these Terms and Conditions of Service, please discontinue further use of Favour Land Publications. Your continued use of Favour Land Publications will signify your acceptance of any change in the Terms and Conditions of Service set out.

From time to time Favour Land Publications may supplement these Terms and Conditions of Service with additional terms applying to specific content or events, such as competition, book launch, consultation, mentoring, etc. Any Additional Terms will be clearly placed on http://www,favourbooksandmusic,com to be viewed in connection with the specific content or events. All Additional Terms will form part of these Terms and Conditions of Service.

The pricing quotation is unique with each Author relative to their book publishing specifications. The quotation will be sent to you once we agree on going ahead with the publishing of your work.
